What to Expect

There are no set expectations! Grace Groups offer three meaningful ways to support fellowship, and our team provides the resources and support to help you succeed in each capacity.

Whether you are joining a group, opening your home, or guiding the discussion, the goal is the same: grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out love together.Review each role below and click to get started today!

Participants

Join a Grace Group

Come ready to participate, listen, learn, and build relationships.

  • Meet regularly with your group.
  • Engage with the current series and discussion.
  • Respect confidentiality and one another.
  • Share in fellowship, prayer, and service as you are able.
Hosts

Open Your Home

Hosts make the gathering possible and handle the practical group details.

  • Provide the meeting location.
  • Maintain schedule, capacity, and availability.
  • Help welcome participants.
  • Use Host Tools for routine group administration.
Facilitators

Guide the Conversation

Facilitators prepare for the weekly study and help the group have a thoughtful, welcoming conversation.

  • Review the weekly material in advance.
  • Guide—not dominate—the discussion.
  • Encourage participation and follow-up.
  • Use Facilitator Tools for training and resources.
These roles are not mutually exclusive. For example, a Host also participates in group fellowship and may choose to help foster discussion as a Facilitator. The role labels simply clarify how each person supports the group.
